I have been silent on here for a while. Just upgraded to a 2015 991 GTS, factory color was Carmine Red which I had wrapped in Riviera Blue. Options include Alcantara with Red Stitching. This thing is a beast. Let me know what you think.
As well I have my 2007 C2S Cab posted for sale in the Marketplace.

Looks great. Have you considered putting PPF over your wrap? Costly, but will protect against stone chips, which have the potential to be traumatic when wrap colour so different from base.

Are wraps more prone to chips? Figured it might be similar to having PPF in itself. Seems costly to do both lol.

Depends on the wrap. I had brushed black on my 987.2 and it was indestructible. Then I got a satin grey wrap on my subsequent black 911 and took it off after less than a year because it was so full of holes. Really seemed to get marked more than paint, sadly. I now have Stealth PPF on the car and it looks like this
Hopefully I just got a bad batch of wrap that time, but I would maybe ask for a 'level of expectation' re stone chips from your installer...
smann79, the car looks awesome! Congrats! I was wondering what the door jams look like when you wrap a car? Do they get wrapped as well? Pictures would be awesome if you don't mind?
