Rear Bumper Emblem Dimension Needed

I recently purchased a 2012 911 Carrera S that didn't have the "911 Carrera S" emblems beneath the P O R S C H E one so I ordered a new set from Suncoast. Could someone who has the OE "911 Carrera S" emblems please measure and tell what the dimension is for "A" in the following photo:

I believe A dimension will be different because if it came from factory they move PORSCHE emblem down. Just my .02

+1 Someone at Porsche decides the visual balance on the bumper cover of a single line emblem vs a two-line version so I'd leave it alone or start fresh with both lines.

Thanks BOBP and TAch. I understand what you both are saying but I'm thinking that just determines the placement of the emblem(s) vertically on the bumper. What I'm really looking for is the distance between the two...regardless of how high or low they are placed on the bumper. Hope that makes sense? If anyone who has this can just quickly measure that distance and let me know I would greatly appreciate it. Having that information would sure make me feel more comfortable about installing my emblems before I begin. Thanks in advance for your time!

A=2" but keep in mind that I only have "911" on the bumper and not the full script, however I doubt that makes a difference - if it does it can't be that much

Make sure you curve it properly to follow the contour of the bumper. I've seen some replacement emblem applications that used a straight line, and it looks quite awful.

Thanks for the heads up Stealthboy! I knew that was the case for the PORSCHE letters. but didn't realize it was like that on the second line as well!! I'll certainly keep that in mind as I lay everything out.

Prob not the most convenient, but if you are not far from your dealer service dept or certified Porsche body shop ask if they have the rear emblem template for the badging you are adding. It is a rubber jig that hangs off the back of the car which holds the lettering template just as they do in the factory placing the lettering to "spec". Just maybe they will allow you to borrow.... You can also buy the holder and lettering templates but last I saw there was a back-order on them. Just another option... good luck!
