The search function is your friend. This topic has been beaten like a dead horse.

Bottom line is you will not get an answer but a whole lot of opinions as everyone has their favorite.

Good luck and use the force in your search for that perfect system.

ALP is best jammer hands down. Radar detectors take your pick among Valentine, Escort, Radenso, Uniden, etc. If you don't want a windshield RD, you can go remote with Radenso or NetRadar. The K40 and Escort 9500ci is old technology. The jury is out on the new Escort Max Ci.

In defense of OP the site search is very weak. Sometimes I find it useless. I've seen threads in the past and I'll do a site search to find them and can't.

The best way to turn a poster back into a lurker is to tell them to use site search, and especially a site search as weak as this forum.

Here is my thread on the subject from about a half year ago, technology changes overnight so you don't want to read 1 year old threads.

That's weird, I typed "radar" "in title only" option and got a full page of radar threads and conversations about them.

Not meant to be mean spirited but he too could read through 10+ threads rather than starting a new one to get some of the same info. He would also see that the post above about "only get net radar" after reading several of those threads that it isn't very good and plenty of folks do not like it.

I too searched for "RADAR" per your recommendation. Only 2 came up on the first page, one of which is this thread.

The rest is irrelevant. There are three towards the bottom which seem relevant but reads commercial in nature. The rest is fluff.

Yeah, and you could read a thread title about radar detectors, realize it doesn't interest you, and allow others to have a discussion about it without affecting your life whatsoever.

Yeah or you could not be a keyboard cowboy and actually does concern me as I am researching a concealed system and have found a ton of info using the search key on her and on RL so bite me.

I'm on my 3rd K40 front rear radar laser
2 little blue led front rear indicators in dash above tach, very well hidden
System works Great
Laser is not used at all, maybe 4% of my alerts
When is has gone off, I did see the cop and no reaction from him, I guess it worked
Funny thing though, other cars I use an old cobra radio shack old windshield mount, and the $120 one works great also
Many options, many opinions
