I agree the material cost is a few bucks. Are you considering the costs to mock up the prototype or tooling costs to manufacture? How about the minimum production amount that was made and sitting on their shelf right now? These all factor into the price. BTW I have no affiliation with this company or product, but I do have an appreciation for the effort put forth by them.
