I think the outside came together nicely. I wasn't a fan originally of the rear but I am ok with it now. Don't like the small bumperettes on either side of the license plate area but other than that the exterior I think looks good.
The inside is another story. I think even in person I'm not going to like it. Not a fan of the new switches at all and the shifter is just hideous. A shame. Outside a win I feel inside not.

I did not like the pictures and then I saw on in person at the Werks Reunion at Ameilia Island and I still don't like it overall. From the rear end with fake exhaust tips to the front bumper/hood line and to the door handles, gauges and center console; however, I do like the new steering wheel.

I also saw it at Amelia Island. I like the new rear look. I like the wider front (+ ~ 1.5"). The new shifter looks like my electric razor.

The price increases are troublesome. I am also not a fan of all of the the new "driver helpers" like sensors adjusting the drive when it senses rain--I can tell when it is raining.

I'll buy one sooner or later (probably later).

I have not seen one in person yet but the recent pics of the outside I am starting to like the stance and the front and rear look.
There are many things I do not care for inside the the switches and shifter which is very disappointing for a sports car. That said many of the high end PDK only type shifting exotics don't have impressive shifters.
I'll wait to see and sit in one in person before commenting more but I'm guessing it will drive magnificently.

Does anyone know when the 992 will actually arrive in dealerships? I thought it would be Spring time in the US?

My local dealers says not before end of summer, early fall.

I saw one at Amelia a couple of weeks ago and thought it looked much better live than in the pics I had seen. The flares and larger rear tires give it an aggressive look. The corporate blackout bumper caps and the lightbar even looked fine to me, tho not so good as the sport design pics.
I didn't see the interior as they had it on a platform with a pesky guard.

We were there as well and I got a tour of the inside but could not sit in it.

Don't like the interior or the exterior. Larger wheels and wide body is nice but don't like the "corporate" direction of the styling specifically the "square" radiator, square exhaust panel and the "light bar" that reminds me of a Lincoln. I have a Macan S, a 991.2S Cab, and a GT3 Touring. Planning on keeping those...

The exterior is an acquired taste. The interior is a big step forward.

The interior of the 997 and 991 was so similar that it was time for a change.

I agree about the exterior - I dislike the rear end and how Porsche is utilizing that rear design style for many models. (Pana, Cayenne, 911)
Disagree about the interior - hate the 997, love the 991, REALLY NOT liking 992.

Personally I really like all the photos I've seen. Love the rear end with the light across the entire rear. That will look crazy at night! Hoping to see the actual car at Parade in Boca Raton in July. I'm willing to bet it will be there. I'll wait to order a Targa 4S or a Targa 4 GTS. Planning on Euro delivery. Anxious to drive also. Be curious how the S/4S will compare to a 991.2 GTS. Very similar HP.

this is the first non gt3 to tickle my fancy, I think it is the best looking porsche yet!. When are they landing?
If I could get a new 20' with a limited slip diff and manual gearbox and some nav basically a full stripper for under 100k I would swap out my Aston for it today. perhaps a dealer will take trade in today for a delivery when they land?
