'12 991 c2s pdk vs manual prices

My budget is mid 60s and I'm having a hard time finding a manual. Do manuals command a premium in the used market. I think I read somewhere that around 90% of 991's sold were pdk. Don't really care for the '13 manual since that had auto rev matching.

If i can get a PDK for a good price i'd consider one. i saw a coupe with paddle shifters for 639000.

It depends on who you ask but since it is harder to find manuals than PDKs they usually cost more since a lot of people still like to shift themselves, like me. Have you tried the Rennlist Marketplace?: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/vehicles

And check out the 991 Forum, where you can start a thread and ask for what you are looking for: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-221/

Funny, I was just looking at The Mart in the latest issue, #756, of Panorama, and there is a 2012 S Cab with a manual, 29k miles, GT Silver/Black, claimed mint for $68,500 and a couple others that may be of interest, manuals and PDKs.

hold out

You might pay 5k more but the pdks are showing some issues. Yes the manuals are more rare and further i think the people who own them probably keep them longer (although I have no statistical evidence I just watch the market because I have one). PCNA said 2013 does not have rev matching but thereare examples that have it so depends on build date. Take your time and review rennlist, cars.com, autotrader !nd car gurus. A good one will pop up.

Rev matching is only in the manual cars with Sport Chrono. So, no reason to exclude cars after 2012. Just look for no Sport Chrono. Also, I believe you can turn off rev matching anyway. Don’t know since my car is a 2013 manual with no Sport Chrono.

There is no way to turn off rev-matching, not even with a tune but Cobb is looking into adding that feature.

Thanks Bob for confirming. I do remember reading someone had the dealer reprogram for them.

Either way, if you don’t want rev matching, and are fine losing the dynamic engine mounts as well, then a 2013 and on car are fine.

Glad to see my car holding it's value. I only have 23K on my 2012 MT
