New to me 991.1

Hi everyone. I recently joined the 911 club with a beautiful white 991.1, 7-speed manual base Carrera. In the short time of ownership, I have swapped out the side markers for LEDs, ordered the Zunsport front mesh grills with some mixed reviews, washed it half a dozen times and put on about 500 miles. I came from a 981 Cayman that I bought in 2018. Just in the right place at the right time to get into a 911. Here's an overly artsy photo I took a few days after a recent wash.

Congrat! to my humble opinion, the best 911 in the line are either the bone base one or the top one, anything in between is kind of compromise.
So you got one sweet ride you are going to enjoy it trough good ways !
Friendly tip, please don't "mod" it (at least not cosmetically), stock rocks

Thanks! To each their own on models and trim levels of 911s. I also barely consider side markers and mesh grills mods.
I've heard the GT3 shifter is a worthwhile swap as well as suspension but neither of those are happening anytime soon.

If you want a tip from the experience, do nothing of this. Nothing you will do to it won't make it break any record or being a GT3, you will end up spending money on it making it less appealing to potential buyers in the future, the more stock the better. if you want a GT3 make it your next goal

thanks, it's a 2013. just took it on it's first mini-road trip this weekend. fresh wash and wax this morning. not quite at 'obsessed garage' level but a very zen process. i just need to get a tv mounted in the garage for F1 weekends.

Platinum satin wheels? Look amazing and if i was speccing from the start would have opted for those. I suppose there's still a chance for a winter wheel/tire set, though I'm more inclined for a "cheaper" wheel I won't worry driving in salty slush and generally crappy winter weather.

'13 here also! I really lucked out finding this as one of my must haves was the factory Aerocup Kit . But also, this car was loaded to the gills by the original owner... it's basically a GTS before the GTS came out! I don't care about resale as much as others, so I've done a few mods... :-D
