porsche 991.1 911 oil pressure reach 5 bars (75 psi)
Hi, I have a Porsche 911 991.1 Carrera 3.4 2014, I noticed that whenever the car is hard accelerating, the oil pressure starts to go above 4.5 to 5 bars (75 psi) when I reach or hit above 4-4,500 rpm, is that normal? Also, while driving at a speed of 120 kph the oil pressure is between 2.2-2.4+ bars.
The mileage of the car is 150,000 km, no track use, and the oil temperature of the car usually tends to be between 95 - 105+ c, if that is relevant.
Also, I hear ticking sounds at low rpm while the car is at normal operating temperature from time to time, I tend to not wait for the oil temperature to reach its operating temperature and hit about 4,000 rpm while driving.
