Brake flush question

I want to flush out the OEM brake fluid in my 992 Carrera S Coupe and replace it with racing fluid (DOT 4). When I hooked up my Autel scan tool and selected 'brake flush', I was surprised to get a message saying not to use this selection unless the ABS mechanism had been replaced or a caliper had been replaced. I want the ABS exercised since this is new fluid, but somehow the scan tool can tell I haven't changed the ABS or a caliper and refuses to proceed with the flush. I guess I'll have to do it manually.
My 981 Cayman is very different. The same scan tool will audibly exercise the ABS during the flush as well as which telling you which caliper to flush and when.
Anybody know why the 992 is different? If residual OEM fluid is left in the ABS, should I be concerned?
