Considering 993TT. Prices?

Can you tell me what a nice example sells for? Say up to 40K miles? How about a GT2? or Turbo S? it's looking like less than $60K for a normal TT?

Don't mind if it's flashed, or has minor mods (as long as stock turbos are still there) or had few drivers events. Just want a car someone was proud of. Don't want too many owners, but must be a nice, street driven example, no track hoes. Repaint due to rock chips OK, repairs due to anything more than a fender bender..... NO!

No black. Prefer silver, white, dark blue and ?? No internal motor work. Maintenance records a big plus.

60k is about right for a 40k mile car. Overall, without regard to mileage, the range for a standard tt is probably 40k to 100k. "S" is 80 to 180. GT2 is essentially non-existent, unless you are talking about recreations. Otherwise, over 200k.

The 996 cars are true drivers. The 993 is the ultimate classic 911 turbo.

Are you planning to get rid of your 996TT or get the 993TT in addition? I've considered a 993TT (as well as a few other earlier 911s), but don't think I'd want to get rid of my 996TT.

I'd like to keep both. Tired of leasing and moving on.

This way I get a new (used) car every 5-6 years but I add it to my collection.

Great move Ari. I have been looking around at some 993TT's and for the $, I will
more than likely go in that direction myself (insted of the 996TT I was planning on getting)

Prices for lower mileage 993tt's seem to have gone up this past year or two. Not sure if they are going to stay up though. Currently I'm looking for a 996tt dd and hopefully have just found one.

There's a guy on Rennlist who is selling what appears to be a pretty decent one.

Hey Ari...Guys,

I am selling my 993TT (GT-2 clone) If anyone is interested. I just got married and am about to list it again. Was asking 80K before but during thease times I think it's just too much. I would love for a 6speeder or just a real car guy to end up with her.

like all expensive toys in this economy 993TTs have come down quite a bit. I think you could get a 40k miles car for under 60k (more like 55k) if you're a serious buyer with cash in hand.

Pristine ultra low mile cars will still fetch upwards of 70-75k though.
