The 993 GT2 is hell on wheels!! Haha!!! Sorry but the GT3 has nothing for it on straight line.....he even slowed down around 4:00 to see if he over takes him but blew right by him. Awesome video. Loved it.

 

The GT3 looks like it would run laps circles that GT2, despite the GT2 being quicker on the straights. The GT2 carried a horrible line, constantly unloading a tire causing lock-up, and was constantly falling out of boost on exit. The GT2 is either a bad driver or the technology difference has done wonders for those cars.

 

tough to compare the cars when we don't know much about the drivers. THe GT2 driver certainly hasn't mastered threshold braking, has no idea when he's about to bounce of the revlimiter, and has trouble finding an apex or a consistent line around the track. It does seem to go like hell on the straights when it spools up tho. Maybe the GT3 driver was just there to take video as his lines were dubious as well. In any case the GT2 looks pretty darn good.

 

Yup I agree.

Like everyone said it is definitely not the best driving, but could some of it be attributed to the guy loosing concentration due to the GT3 being so aggressive in following? I think they both were nervous and forgot all about the technical aspects of the track. Sure looked like fun either ways.

 

It was amazing how the GT3 would catch up under braking. Great video. Thanks for the post.
