I'm confused I thought 993 turbos were only made in 96 &97. Is this a one off? For ruf only? Is this possibly rarer than a turbo S? I think you got one hellva deal & car. Looks great in white and it sounds awesome.

Car was originally a C2 before conversion and not a turbo... absolutely gorgeous

as someone mentioned this is a 1998 S wide body car before conversion not a 993TT which I think makes it even more rare for a few reasons.
Being a 1998 this is truly the last of the air cooled and just don't see many 98's RUF Turbo R cars and finally for many the fact its RWD to AWD making it very much like a GT2 is rare...
it goes into the shop next week so I can do some thing to it to make it truly mine... removing the side skirts, swapping out S wing for base 993tt wing, RUF pedal kit, some brake work, etc etc Oh and of course some 19 RUF wheels powder coated black...

Car goes to the shop next week for first round of exterior mods.... fall/winter will be interior maybe..
That 997 was no slouch and had a nasty stance itself, here are a few pics
I added the 19' oem porsche Turbo wheels when I sold the car and removed the front chin spoiler for test rides for possible buyers as car sat low... but here it is with chin spoiler and RUF's on... these black Rufs now going on the 98 Turbo R... can't wait!
