Fair price for 993 Turbo

Ok. I have run accros a 1996 993 Turbo for sale. I was looking for a Sypder (boxter) when this came up. The seller does not have a price in mind, just wants an offer. The original owner took deliver in Germany, as it was his dream. He drove it around for a while and had is shipped back. It is fairly well loaded, leather wrapped gauges, etc. The car has always been stored inside. (deep south, no snow) It has 15,000 miles. It has not been driven for several years (2 years). What do I need to look for? and what is a fair value?

You will def need a PPI, compression & leakdown test recommended even with those miles.

Here is a PPI list, keep in mind this is extreme in some ways.

Without some details on options, color etc. I would say that car is at minimum $80K, easily more, again need more details.

Depending on the "exclusive" options it could be well into the 90k+ territory. If all maintenance and ppi. Also paint checks out.

Is it owned by the original owner currently (In other words do you have access to complete ownership records?). European delivery is not anything special other than the otherworldly experience for the original owner. I bought a 2nd hand 96 993TT out of state and both turbo seals leaked and one cam cover. It can get fairly pricey to fix oil leaks on these cars (remember they have a pan underneath them-an undertray for noise), so if you just look at the garage floor where they are parked it can be perfectly dry but that does not mean anything. Certainly one of the finest of all Porsches ever built. Great look, sound and FEEL. enjoy !

hmmm maybe you could offer the price between $70k- $80k and i think that would be a fair enough deal for this turbo

Color has a lot to do with it, obviously hot pink brings down the price a lot.

Anything below 75 would be a deal IMHO but ppi and no previous paint would be a must to pay more -these cars are only going up from here -
