Hey guys, I have a buddy with a '96 Twin Turbo with a ECU flashed by Jesse Owens from Powerchip (for TPC). He is contemplating a full turbo upgrade with new ECU. He paid $4k for his ECU flash and the car rolls. It was set up with factory turbos (K16's) and put out 385rwhp and 420ft/lb at the rear wheels on a dynomax dyno (originally dyno'd at 327hp).

Get a great upgrade for $1500 with exchange.

Dynosheets available to verify.

Also has cargraphic 100 cell race cats w/ factory mufflers for $800.

or, Everything for $2k! That's a deal.

Interested parties could get a test ride/drive.

Lee, I will pass that along to him - looks great! He's looking for a more power WITH a more linear boost too. I can't believe only one guy has taken him up on the test drive - his car is amazing!

Love what you've done to your 997. You need to post a full spec w pics in the 997 section.

Thanks for all you help with my car!

If any 993Twin Turbo wants to pick up immediately no nonsense major kick *** power and super fast turbo power that will compliment any other MODS like those shown above the you take a look at Fabspeed Motorsports 993TT catbypass pipes and Maxflo rear sports mufflers.

Taking the catalytic converters off a 993TT is very easy and its still very easy to reinstall them for inspections and "if you ever have to".

Fabspeed manufacturers the worlds most powerful and lowest backpressure 993Twin Turbo exhaust systems that still allows heat. Fabspeed also has headers with and with out heat with merge collectors.

Everything is T304 stainless steel and mirror polished to a show car shine. A Video on our website explains everything. The gains are incredible and guaranteed to surpace any other brand of muffled exhaust on a 993TT. Systems fits all 993TT and TT "2" and GT2 ROW street cars.

have a great day

I wonder how a 520hp stgX 993tt would compare to a comparable 996tt, like which 996tt stage would it compare too?!

You can't get beyond 490FWHP with this kit, and you still need an extra oil cooler, fuel pressure regulator and better filter.

Joe Fabiani, very deep post.

The original poster's package seems more realistic and balanced for a maximum of 450FWHP output limited by the K16 stock turbos. A good buy.

Joe,

I am running your headers, catbypasses and maxflow mufflers. Last week the car layed down 496whp and 518 wtq on a mustang AWD dyno. When I installed the mufflers guess what less lag. I then installed the cat bypasses and same thing, less lag. Lastly the headers topped off the combo. This nice sounding setup only gave up 6 whp to a very loud short track system I had installed before. I will post the dyno sheet next week when I can scan it.

IMHO this is the best blend of sound and performance available for these cars.

Tom,

So you're saying that you gave 6whp with the Fabs setup

Nah Vince, he said compared to his LOUD straight pipe setup, going with a muffler and liveable exhaust only made him gain minimal power back!

I lost 6WHP using fabspeed full exhaust compaired to a short LOUD track system. I gained heat and a nice exhaust note. The point is the FabSpeed system is nearly as efficent as a short track system without all of the down sides.

My car's rebuilt had recently completed and it have Todd's ECU tuned for 60lb fuel injector similar to your set up. Any advice to get it running smooth after the break in period?
