dilema

got a little bit of a dilema.......before i bought my 993tt..i looked at a white 2002 gt2 with 29k miles....guy wanted $97k for it and i passed because i thought it was too much for a gt2 with almost 30k miles...now after i bought my 993tt which i do love the guy called me today and said he wanted to move the car alluding to a price of around 85k...what do you guys think??

i saw a post saying gt2s can be bought for 80k but i cant seem to find any for anywhere near that.....i think the 996tt depreciation scares me with the new 997 gt2 coming out.....and im just wondering how hard my 993tt would be to sell..i have $76k in it with the wheels

The lowest 996 GT2 I have seen was on ebay recently, $79,900 buy it now. It had 56k miles. I am sure others are that low, with probably more miles. $85k with 30k is a great deal IMO.

I wouldn't worry about it Mike. There are a dozen different cars I would love to own. I have shown interest at my local dealership in a new GT3RS, but whenever my salesman calls me regarding one, it's the same old story "we want $40k over sticker" and I just laugh. Now, someone might pay the $40k over but it won't be me. I'll wait until they come down in price, if that ever happens. I must say though, the prices on the GT2's are looking very attractive.

I have owned and modded them all. Get a 997GT3/RS it's the best 911 right now.

RSS - your car looks sweet in your avatar. more pics in another thread?

Mike - if you've wanted a GT2, and you like this particular car, $85K is a good price.

For that price you can't go wrong, that is, if it passes a good PPI., cheers, Sonny.
