Another Price Check 98 C2S

Hey guys-

Looking at a 98 c2s with about 25K miles. Seems to be well maintained.

Asking 48K+/-. What do you all think?

Thanks in advance.

stealth - off topic, but do you have any leads on any c2s or c4s you know of that aren't on the major car sale sites?

You still haven't found one? No, I don't really know of any.

This is a great car, but needs the top end done.

saw that one. If memory serves, it had body work, as well.

I don't know if it's my pickiness or desire to find a west coast car, but yes, I'm still looking.

just remember that the 96 can't be chipped if memory serves me correct. You will have to purchase a 97 or later ECU to do so.

The car look great though.

Bobby G, we were chatting about Carrera S cars almost a year ago! Hope all's well Picky is good, but a widebody 993 is calling!! Maybe put out a feeler to see if any 6Speeders are thinking about parting with a car not already on your radar?

Wide-body S vs "regular" C2... Should I be hell bent on a wide-body, or would the smarter money go for a lower mile straight non S coupe?

That's totally a matter of preference. Personally, I prefer a Pcar with an extra wide set of hips. And the 993 in either C2S or C4s/Turbo form has got one of the finest lines that Porsche has ever made.

But to each his own

widebody is worth the extra $. once you buy a widebody, you won't be looking on the internet anymore for cars...
