95 coupe v 97 cab

both selling for 30K and in excellent condition. 95 coupe has only 42K miles, 97 cab has 81K miles with new clutch and top. assuming compression is good on both, should i be concerned with difference in mileage? i live in southern california so i'm leaning towards the cab, but the coupe with the such low mileage is so appealing.

If I had to choose between the two, I would go with the 95 coupe. More rigid chassis, OBD1 car (no pesky CEL) and if you want to take it to the track once in a while you won't need to install a roll bar.
Happy hunting!

Personally I would go for the coupe, for all the reasons beer4all lists plus I just like coupes better! But if you are partial to cabs and will do alot of top down driving I can't blame you for going with the 97.

If you are going to track the car go coupe, if you want to enjoy weekend drives buy the cab.

Go drive both, pick what one YOU like better. IMHO, go for the one in better shape, miles mean nothing if it was taken care of.

+1 - Definately go take a look at both cars if you haven't already, chances are seeing them in person will make the decision much easier. If both are in great shape I'd lean towards the coupe simply because I prefer the hardtop but I can't imagine a warm, top-down California weekend road-trip would cause any regrets either. Happy hunting and be sure to post pictures!

Exactly why I chose my 95 coupe, had an 87 cab at the same time for satisfying the open air itch.
