Advice Please!

Is it ridiculous to purchase a car only to want and paint it?

I really like the interior color, the lower mileage, and location of this car.

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...748&aff=tucson

However, I don't like the color and would love to have it painted a seal gray color...
What do you guys think? Advice? What do you think about the price?

Thanks!
Hawgdriver

Damn, that's a pretty good deal too if everything checks out...if you decide to pass, please let me know. I actually like the color myself, but would've preferred a different interior, like gray or black. The main problem with repainting is that the value will drop and every time you open the engine lid or pull the carpet away in the front trunk you will see the original color. If you can live with those two, then you should be in good shape, just find a reputable painter and be prepared to shell out a good $4000 for a decent-good quality repaint, probably even more.

paint ain't cheap. $10k easy. If you really don't dig the color, wait til you find one that works for you. I don't think there were many seal grey 993's made.

Don't Do It

There are to many 993 Cabs. for sale......take some time and search for the right one.....the last car is way to expensive for the miles

Good Luck and stay safe on your deployment
