excellence magazine?

Just curious.. how many of you get "The magazine about porsche excellence"? I just got 3 "free" $50 barnes&nobles gift cards using my american express points.. so I went over there last night and bought a bunch of books and magazines. Anyway, the magazine really is good.

I subscribe and, amazingly, I saw the recent issue @ B&N reviewing the new GT2-yet I haven't received my copy yet in the mail.

I do

I just renewed excellent mag! They have 911 and GTPorsche mag which are excellent also, but kind of high on price especially if you don't subscribe to them. I usually spend 20$ easily for both of them a month

Excellence has got to be one of the very few good american mags. The rest pretty much suck. Their sister publication "bimmer" is pretty good too.

That "Excellence" mag is pretty good. I also like the "Modified Luxury & Exotics" and "Robb Report". I think that is all I read lately.

I'm getting three different magazines and they all duplicate the same articles... So a word to the wise...

Excellence - Best
Panorama - PCA's "free" mag, Good!
Christophorus - Not bad

I've also bought Porsche, 911, and another rag that I saw at a magazine stand a few months ago... it's at the office so I'll have to dig it up tomorrow and post the name... Last year when I was at SEMA LasVegas (Oct. 29-Nov. 3rd I think) there were several magazines that I had not previously seen available, and sadly, haven't seen again.

Excellence is a great magazine. They have great content for aficionados of all generations of 911s.

The publisher (Ross Periodicals) has a few other magazines which are great as well.

Sports Car International
Bimmer (as previously mentioned.)
Corvette Magazine

Have to agree, Excellence is the best magazine out there for the Porsche enthusiast in terms of historical articles (accuracy), restoration articles and market updates. Been a subscriber since 1992. The only other magazine I now get is Total 911 (more for the photography than anything else), although I used to be a subscriber to 911 and Porsche World.

Very good mag. But, I too see it on the news stand before I get it in the mail.
