I have the SSR GT3 wheels with polished lip and black centers to match the all black car. I am, at the least, getting the inside of the wheel powder coated black, because the previous owner didn't keep up with cleaning the inside so they are pitted and beaten up. While at the shop, they said that they will need to take the wheel apart to do it, so if I wanted to do anything different, it wouldn't be any additional labor.
So, below are a few pics of the car and here are a few options I am thinking of:

1 - Gloss black outer lip with gunmetal centers
2 - All gloss black wheel and outer lip
3 - Gunmetal center with polished outer lip.
4 - Leave it as is and just have the inside of the wheel done in black, and he the outer lip repolished.
5 - Gloss balck outer lip with a matte black center.

If anyone can photoshop any of these options, especially #1, I would love it!!!

Personally prefer gunmetal to black wheels on a black car.
Can't photoshop, but I vote for: 3 - Gunmetal center with polished outer lip.

 

I vote for #4, black centers, black inner lips and re-polished outers. But then of course I'm biased as it lthat woud look somewhat like my wheels (one piece wheels, not 3 piece).

OT, sorry, but I LOVE the back wing on your car!! Which one is it?

No. I got this on ebay. Some guys had good luck with them, and others had really bad experiences with this wing. Mine isok, not perfect, but it was only $450 shipped. I have $650 invested into it, so it owes me nothing and it looks good.

 

Oh, and while I love the Gunmetal rims, IMHO on a black car you lose the look without black wheels. Now having said that, I realy like the brushed satin silver wheels on black cars too, and I can't say as I've actually seen Gunmetal on black, so maybe Photoshop would help that decision. Otherwise, based on your choices, my opinion FWIW is Black with Black inners and polished lips.

Leave them the way they are...your car is hotness....although i wouldnt be mad if you upped the booost a lil

 

I'd vote for #3. If you go all black on a black car, it looks like the wheels disappear a bit.

Is there any way you can change the bolts to match the face color as well?

I am leaning more and more towards gloss black outer lip with gunmetal centers.

I will have the screws done in gunmetal if I go with the above.

 

The shop that is going to do the work has agreed to muck up different color centers on metal disks, so we can see the effect off the polished outer lip. At that point they also said they would do one wheel first so I can see how it looks and if I don't like it or want to make a change, it would only be one wheel that needs to be redone. They are very accomdating.

My whole thought here is to come up with something stylish but a little different. I love the current look, but it is seen everywhere.

 

If I had a black car like yours, id go all black for sure. It's just too badass evil. Maybe try a satin black lip and matte black centers.
