I know very little about M3's except that I have always wanted one. The seller is willing to trade this M3 https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...d.php?t=100678
for my cherry G35 (see sig) plus, of course, some cash on my end.
I know it is a totally irresponsible move on my part (M3 will be my daily) but the car looks incredible. What do you guys think?
Please advise since I need to make a decision quickly.
Thanks

What I do not get is why is he selling the car? why would he want to get rid of a one of a kind to date? dos not make sense unless something is not right wiht that car.
Sorry for being skeptical... but that's what I would ask if I was in ur shoes.

Hes selling to put more money into his business. I've seen this car first hand, its a BEAST
I was going to say NO, but then I saw the pictures. It does look absolutely stock. My reasoning for saying no was because all the upgrading fun is over. Its perfect!!! As a daily driver tho, it might not be the right kind of car. A good test drive is in order. If you like the way it drives, I would say go for it. You can always sratch the mod itch with your GT2.
How about this weekend? My schedule this week is hectic with meeting some new clients.

IMO 600+ whp is a little much for a DD, although i'm thinking of trading my Turbo for an M3 (due to financial need) soon because they are so sick! All in all though, if it runs great and will for a while i'd do it in a heart beat!
that car is incredible. the build up of that car was a long and proper process... i'm sure every single reciept is still available from the original owner who had this baby created. if i were in the market for an E46 M3 this simply would be the-end-of-all M3s. I say go for it, I honestly don't think you could possibly find a better deal for what this beast has.
let patience be your friend
Great Looking car
But, sorry to add to the skepticism..something doesn't seem right......and you feel you have to make a decision quickly.I wouldn't based on that alone.
For daily driver a nice M3 or AMG merc would be great...but you want your DD to be trouble free.
Car has lots of mods and it is feasible that there are problems there....if you had enough time, you could investigate properly...but you dont......

Well, I am going to research the car thoroughly. I am sifting through the M3 forum already. My take so far is that the car is an ambitious project with a great deal of potential.
Plus, the shop that built it is here in Houston.
The car has had some issues w/ shredded belts but supposedly that has been worked out.
I have had several M3 guys PM me and say the car has had nothing but the best so far.
