Suspension Upgrade but no drop
Suspension Upgrade but no drop
I am looking at a suspension upgrade mainly for road and canyon use with minor track use. As I live in the Philippines, I do not want any drop due to the condition of the roads and to speed bumps here. Looking at tightening the whole car. Not worried about the ride as I also have an EVO9 MR street car with a race tuned JIC Suspenion, sway bars and others. Looking at front and rear sway bars. How about spring - shocks?
Yeah I know the speed bumps can be a pain in the ***. Just drive them really slowly. But for that kind of power the stock suspension is not enough!
Go for the PSS9s (imo better than H&R coilovers because you can adjust the shocks!) leaving the car high enough (the factory sport suspension X73 is one option too, from e.g. www.carnewal.com)
H&R swaybars both front and rear are also good the handling, stiffens up the experience, you will notice them immediately! (leave them first to loosest settings and start finetuning if needed)

Approx 6 months ago I fitted the X73 package.....great suspension (very firm). It only lowered the car 5mm from my standard OEM spec. But I wish I had the option to adjust the ride height lower.
Regarding Coilovers for the 996TT, which one has the highest setting closest to the stock ride height? Does anyone know where in LA or Phoenix where I can get the X73 package?
