Question need help....

I have a customer that has an upsolute in his car..he is selling the car,and wants to sell the chip..can you put the whole ecu in another car? or do i have to return the customers ecu to stock..and do the whole process over? any help would be appreciated

Ok Detailer, I'll answer your question. No, you cannot transfer a 996tt ECU from one car to another. The reason is on a new ECU, they have to burn in your VIN number on the ECU. Once this is done you cannot use the ECU on another car.

As Chad said, each ecu has its own identity. An Upsolute chip cannot be sold. Just send your ecu to Rene and he'll have it turned around in less than 48 hours.

Wow when I saw that for the title of the thread and you were the poster... I thought you were not satisfied with the sex therapist I referred you to and were looking for another..... Last time I spoke to him he mentioned that you were his most unusual case and he had not seen anyone like you before...
