Dymag carbon fiber and magnesium rims

Is anyone running the Dymag carbon fiber and magnesium rims? I am thinking about purchasing a set but would like some feedback as to there viability on the street.

I was looking at some on a Callaway last month and the CF was bubbling and de-laminating. They looked terrible.

Love mine. They have over a thousand miles of street use, and are perfect so far. Put about 350 miles on them this weekend alone.

Incredible, seat-of-the-pants difference in performance. Together with tires, my 19" Dymags weigh 52 lbs less than my 20" TechArts. That's 52 lbs less unsprung, rotating weight.

Acceleration, deceleration, turn-in; they are simply phenomenal.

They say that just to give an average of how much you save, but thats in comparison to stock, not aftermarket. Thats like saying I will save 18% if I put them on my H2 and take off the 28's.

No. That's saying they will reduce unsprung weight by 18% over stock equipment on a sports car that retails over $100,000.

ohh, and your 28's WOULD be aftermarket

I recently picked up a set....I mean physically picked them up w/tires and they are light as can be. Very impressive....not $8k impressive. I think I'd try a set of CCWs new C10's...and spend the other $5k on track time or shocks or track time or new tires or more track time. That's $5k....and probably 2.5 lbs a wheel difference. Hell buy some aliminum hats and you're there.
