I can't remember who, I think there was someone with the Ruf set up that ran against the stage 3 or 4 and mentioned that he could pull easily on the GIAC.

Any feedback on this would be GREAT!! I've been looking at RUF and others and noted the price diff. RUF seems to be 10K more for the same HP. I know they have a great reputation but I want to make sure I get my moneys worth. Don't care about 5hp here or there, I want a reliable setup from a reliable vendor...

Sportsters78,

I don't find your e-mail in your profile. Could I get one? I'd love to talk with you about your experiances with RUF as I am about to pull the trigger on a conversion...

Thanks

I believe Duane has the GIAC chip. I have it in my X50 and the car accelerates like a rocket. 0-60 is 2 heart beats. If something pulls more, it has to be scary.

Lightbulb

I think we need a GIAC Stage 4 vs. Ruf race with video. This could be interesting. My money is on the GIAC.

Stage IV is 500 rwhp. There is no secret here. Add exhaust, chip (any chip that adjusts correct afr, and K-24 turbo's.)

Ruf will pull with the best of them. In addition, I believe Ruf offers a 100,000 mile warranty. Did I hear anyone else even offer a warranty?

BCS996tt,

I believe the Ruf warranty is unlimited mileage, one year. If you want to know for sure contact Asgar at Weissach Performance.
They are a 6speed sponser.

I've been communicating with Asgar via e-mail. One of his e-mails states:

"We will provide a full one year unlimited mileage warranty against and failure of ruf components or parts as a result of ruf conversion."

Pretty good stuff imo
