If that's the case fine, then I'd try to get that 03 X50 +PCCB for $110-112K. Good luck!

Porsche dealers are crazy, that's the problem. Turbo S notwithstanding, wholesale values have been the same for like the last 4 months. These dealers seem to think that a $20k mark-up is ok. Bozos

I've been tracking most of 02'-03's on ebay and there are not many cars match their reserve price. There was virtually no TT with asking price of 110-120k sold during last couple of weeks. (except some modified ones) Even fine example like LSM's turbo was thousands short. Even though I think she's fairly priced at 102.5k, I do not think there are many buyers out there that would be pleasesed w/ the price considering high price of oil, staggering economy, 997 and Turbo S. Around here, there's one 03' 5k miles TT w/99k asking price sitting down at local dealer for more than two month.

I'd like to keep the car as daily driver and it will be driven at least 15K a year. After seeing some low mileage 01's go around for $80K range, i assume that 03 x50 w/ 35k may go less than 80K 2 years from now. It seems that this cannot be avoided since there are too many 996 turbos around.

I think its more of a function of buyer's going to Porsche dealers and feeling more comfortable. They have trades, etc, and don't want to mess with a transaction over several state lines. In 2004, I heard they brought about 150-180 turbo coupes and they cannot be found, so, someones buying. Like I said, if I were you, I would be on an 03, not because I have one for sale, but, you can lease or do a fixed value balloon on a 3 yr term, and have a fixed baloon at the end of term. All the while, you are still inder warranty. You can drive the **** out of it (36k miles in 3 years) and not worry about depreciation. I would get it done before end of May as residuals drop slightly each month and I know the numbers for May are strong. Also, interest rates are going up. Good luck, let me know if I can assist in any way.

I only did a 5 day auction. I am only two days in to the auction and it is up to $92k+. Not bad. I fully expect the auction to end without hitting my reserve, but, have been getting lots of emails with interest. We'll see. I am really just trying to help the dealer who took my car in trade. I don't have the car anymore but, can sell it at a discounted price if I sell it. Not only did he give me $6k off list on the 2004, but, he showed me $102.5k as my trade value. He said he was going to give me $100k for the trade, but showed me $102.5k and said he would let me sell it. I offered to give him $2500 if the car didn't sell, but, he said don't worry about it, he'll sell it. Crazy........ I feel obligated to try and sell it now, that is why I posted it on ebay.

If I correctly remember, your last auction ended at 96.xK?? Sure it seems better this time!! I wish you could sell it this time.

Just a data point, I got one of the last painted yellow back SY 03's in the country in December for 114K. The car came with 15 miles.

I wanted to spec one without sunroof, but no allocations were available for an unbuilt 04 back in December.
