The car slid on the launch, first, second, and part of third were all with out traction. The tires were just no good, however true raw power prevails with a 136mph trap speed with absolutely no traction. Tune in for more updates.

 

sweet trap speed........what Turbos/setup is on the car if you don't mind me asking? I take it its putting about lo hi 500's-lo 600's to the wheels? tia

 

I don't want to say for sure since I don't know the exact specs although I know the car does put down in the high 600's, I believe its 670-680rwhp.

btw my last run i hit 129.33 trap..but again couldnt get better than 11.55 on the e.t since i couldnt hook well. 1.99 and 2.00 were my best 60' Ouch!
i noticed many others also had bad 60' times. It was very misty. maybe thats why.

Man that is a horrible time for the trap speed you ran. What was the 60 foot and 1/8 time and speed?

 

I have to talk to Tim, I don't remember to be entirely honest, the car had no grip in first, second, and a portion of third, then it finally took off.

 

that was me. a turbo. not a gt2.
11.73 at 129.33 was my highest trap run with a 2.005 60'
11.550 at 128.73 was best run overall and with a 2.003 60'.

two weeks ago i had my best run of 11.45.

i tried my best to get off the line well but tires did not stick to pavement regardless of what i tried. like i said earlier i noticed many guys getting bad 60' times, i think due to the mist/cold.

if its hotter/stickier i can easily expect a 1.75 60' which should yield at least 11.2 or better.

as for the red car. it looks like he makes crazy power just by the way he spun tires. with sticky tires and better conditions/ good launch he should be in tens.
