Finally - I was able to buy my 996TT!!!
Classic case of Car disease, comes to look for home but can't stay away from the crack!

He is in deep!
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome!
I had seen the car on the cars.com for sale but emailed the guy and he didn't respond. But then on Saturday (after we have "selected" a few houses but not locked on any of them) I called the guy and decided to drive 2 hours to Louisville to see the car. Once I saw it I new I had to buy it and the CPO closed the deal. 4 days later they accepted on of the offers on a house so that's what I call a productive trip (honestly I thought it would take months to find the right car).
Also I drove the 996 turbo and the 997s and decided on the turbo based on raw power and aggressive look. I really liked the interior of the 997 but didn't feel a huge difference in power vs my e46 m3 (at least on the street).
