No affiliation. I was hunting and saw this one. It seems very cheap. Anyone know this car?

Seriously, the wood looks terrible. What does it cost to change all that out? Not diggin' the chrome wheels either.

Lot of miles. Price reflects the mileage and model year.

LuisGT3 is in the Scottsdale area. I'm sure he knows this dealer. PM him if you have any questions.

The wood is just gross. But it certainly could be fixed. I agree the mileage isn't an issue. Porsches are especially supposed to be driven and don't like sitting a whole lot.

I just rejoined the Porsche family yesterday and purchase an 01 996TT with 49K miles. Car looks and smells like new. The records support the impression of a well taken care of car. This is my fourth P car and the least mileage ever. I have had other turbo and n/a 911's with well over 100K and no issues.

If someone is interested, buy it, pocket the savings, and then call Tech Art and HRE to solve the wheel and interior issues! Got to ditch the wood! YUK YUK YUK!

Just my humble opinion.

I know the car is made to be driven and that it can handle it. Just look at Pierre's 996TT from Switzerland.

I can swap the wood. I wonder if I could get rid of the batwing, knowing I would lose the hi-fi stereo.

Any suggestions where I can have an independent shop perform a thorough inspection?

batwing is the center piece from the console to the dash. I've always liked the idea of removing that for a more spartan look.

I just showed that link to my wife, in hopes she'd say "sure, I'd drive it if you'd buy it for me..." But, Uh no.

That's a steal and I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I didn't already own one, tan interior amd woodgrain/tourtus shell aside...

Mike
