Springs vs Coilovers

I would like to lower my car for better looks and handling. I do not track it and once it is set, I would leave it at that height.

So... would I need just springs or a coilover set? Coilovers are much more expensive but do I need them?

thanks!

I went with springs first, didn't like the handling, and then went with coilovers and loved it. You will get a lot of different opinions.

Springs will get you low and a little better handling than stock..

Coilovers will get you low and great handling and a nice firm ride.
