engine
need an answer my left side of the 996t engine it smokes some time, I replace the turbo with a new one an still have the same smoke some time what can it be

If it just smokes on start up, it will always do that.

I get some white smoke at start up, which goes away after 2 minutes or less. Seems to be normal.

alot of people are experiencing this.... its quite normal

Since this engine is a flat, normally opposing head design oil can seep into the cylinder heads and thus, produces the smoke on startup.

its not on start up that it is smokeing, after that goes an come blue smoke an i took the three plugs out an two of then have oil on them, what do you guys think too much boost needs rebuild

FWIW i get smoke if i top off the oil. If i leave it 1 or 2 bars from full I dont get the puff at start up.

maybe u have a leak on that side formt he oil feed line that cools the turbo.... or any other leak for that matter. is it all dry?

yes its all dry, i took out the plugs out 2 of them have oil
