What Customer Service IS...
I'm an analytical guy by trade. I like to ask questions, and get answers. I've been around the block a few times... A few to many in some cases, but I digress...
When I had questions about a set of turbo hoses made by SAMCO, AWE answered them quickly, and worked with me to get them out quickly.
When I pissed and moaned to John D. about my concerns of being burned by yet another exhaust that droned and buzzed and made me have headaches, he answered questions time and time again. He promised that the DGI was the real deal... And HOW!!!
And then there's UMW... I have asked Kevin many many questions, and gotten many, many answers. He's never to busy, always has another view, and always makes me think before I leap.
Service and quality often don't go hand in hand. Customer service often goes out the door. That said, when you have vendors like UME, DGI and AWE, you know that you're going to be taken care of. Are they always going to have the best solution at the cheapest price? Maybe. Maybe there is no cheaper price. Are you going to get the RIGHT informantion? Absolutely... I'm the first person to hammer vendors for poor customer service and crappy products... But I'm also the first to say "GOD I LOVE YOU" when a vendor does the right thing...

Thanks man... to be honest, you get a thank you maybe 1 time a month. people are quick to complain. Its so easy to be nice, its so hard to be mean! Glad we helped and props to the others for keeping the service up.
see, that is what its all about . kevin at UMW had me call him and went over everything with me . that was awesome . plus i hear that he has helped many here with motors etc .
john d even thoughi havent dealt with him yet on a buisness level, hes spot on with any question i may have and very helpfull and has helped me allready tons..
mike at AWE has been so far also.
and dan at vivid also . just like u said . this what we need.people who care about customer service . great job guys and thanks.
