Good price, miles are higher then most but if it's been taken care of and records are there to prove it, the car visually looks pretty good, I would rock it

Darn...

Carfax indicates the car was in an accident in 2003 - rear pillar collision. Oh well.

CARFAX began reporting information from this source on 05/06/2005..... hmm

I had a 02 Turbo with 63k miles. As long as the car was taken care of, it runs just as strong as any of the newer ones. Good Luck

The GT1 derived motor is excellent. As long as it is taken care of by proper maintenance, should be a great car.

Go for it if it has been properly maintained!

I just ran a Carfax on this, and it was actually reported as happening 11/13/2003. Considering it was 4 years and almost 40k miles ago, one could assume it might not have been a real issue. The problem with Carfax is sometimes things are reported and sound much worse than they seem. Also, the opposite is true. The car definitely shows well in pics and black on black is the best looking color for this car, IMO. (this coming from an arctic silver owner, lol)
When buying a car of this caliber, one should always follow due diligence and have it inspected.

Is it common to have Carbon Fibre steering wheel and e-brake and shifter and nothing else? I thought the console surround would have it, along with the vents?

There was a small cf package and a more extensive cf package when these cars were spec'd by there original buyers. This goes without mentioning those who have added cf pieces to their car that were'nt there from the factory.

They should knock another $5 grand off for the accident.
