Help opening trunk?

OK, like an idiot.....thought my car was locked....so I opened the trunk....then hit the button to unlock the car but actually locked it...threw my jacket in the trunk and closed it..with my key in it.....so now I slimjimed the door....alarm goes off....but I can't open the trunk....I assume because the alarm has been set off. Any trick or emergency release to get this thing oped? I only have one key....and it's now locked in the front...do I have to wait till tomorrow and go to the dealer to buy a key and have it programed? Hoping not....

there's an emergency release tucked in front of the passenger front wheel. you will have to take the wheel off to get in there. i used a coat hanger to grab the tiny loop and pulled.

(i had to do this b/c i disconnected the battery and shut the trunk.)

there is a little plug which you can pull to open the trunk

correct, sort of. that's the red (+) end so you can connect jumpers to that and then ground (-) it on the door latch. After you connect this, the truck should open with power.

No, the little plug in the fuse box is to hook power to if you're battery is dead so you can power the solinoid that opens the trunk so you can get at the battery.....and I already tried it thinking maybe it would help but it didn't

Perfect......that's what I was looking for...did you have to remove the fender liner? I will go start pulling the wheel now.

Thanks!
