How do you like these tips?
Tried something different over the Holidays break.
Santa delivered a lift for my backyard shop, so the
tips were looking me right in the face.
Previously painted with semi flat high heat black (1300 degree rated).
I thought they looked good, but disappeared when viewing from the rear.
New look consisted of using wire brush bench grinder and removing
old paint. (stayed on very well, over 8 months since painted)
2nd, repainting and immediately removing paint around rolled lip
with lacquer thinner. There you have it! < $4 bucks custom tips.

I can see what you mean by dissapearing in black, so now they are back to brushed s.steal or chrome? Kinda hard to tell from pics. Looks good though whatever it is much more definate and you can't beat the price
.
.
Tips
