no let me clarify. I have changed to Protomotive. Todd instructed me to send in the ECU, which i did. Giac was removed. Its far smoother without the uncontrollable surging that i was experiencing. I paid separate labor of $1250.00 . I have seen these b.c.'s online for $279.00.

Gary in BR is infamous around these parts
Please forgive my naive question.

Why would you want to turn your boost down?
If the car is setup to run at 1.3 bar why not control your boost with the gas pedal?

Ok that makes sense thanks for clarifying...ok guys continue the conversation and excuse the dumb question.

When I get my boost up to 1 bar I will worry about a boost controller but at 6psi I think I am safe.

Basically the Protomotive set up uses a EBC and you run lets say 1.1 bars on 93 octane and 1.3 bars on 100 octane... then it leans out on the stock fuel system about 1.35 bars.... but wiht even MS 103 or MS 109 you can boost it a little more due to the fact that its a colder burning fuel and it keeps the heads cooler.

Mark,

Is this with or without the injectors and pumps or both configurations?
