Track times GT3 vs GT2 vs TT????

Anyone have any times comparing the 3? I thought there were some nurburgring times but can't find any through the search.

I'm in an argument w/ someone who says the GT3 gets absolutely left int he dust by the other two and if I remember all the times were almost identical and I thought the GT3 was quicker then the TT around the track.

Anyone have times?

The time differential will vary by track...At Hockenheim they are very close...there is not as many opportunities...long staights to take advantage of the GT2's greater torque and power.
here is some info...some different rubber on some cars and tested on different days...keep that in mind.

Nordschleife:
GT3RS: 7:47 PZero Corsa
GT3 Mk2: 7:54 PZero Rosso
GT3 Mk1: 8:03
GT2: 7:46
Turbo: 7:56

Hockenheim:
GT3RS: 1:11.8 PZero Corsa
GT3 Mk2: 1:13.2 PZero Rosso
GT3 Mk1: 1:14.9
GT2: 1:12.6
Turbo: 1:14.6

EDIT: You can see how the lighter GT3RS is very close to the GT2 on a long track like Nordschleife. Take a regular GT3, put it on a diet and add some Moton's, the GT2 winning time could be in jeopardy...Hmmmmmmm

Just put some Corsas or PSC's on a GT2 with proper alignment and see what would happen to its times.

A Turbo takes a LOT more work than simple mods to outdo a GT2 on the Nurburgring.

Like I said, look at the Tuner Porsches that have beaten the GT2's time, how many of them are based on 996TT's?

For example:

Gemballa GTR 750 EVO is based on a GT3
Techart GT Street is based on a GT2
Gemballa GTR600 is based on a GT3

I hope there is a good representation of modded GT2's for the upcoming turbo shootout. It should make for an great comparison.

I'd really like to see what kind of lap time an X50 with X73 could turn on the big track at the Ring.
