The Bugatti Veyron will be featured on the TechTV "Techlive" show right now on DirectTV channel 354. The show goes from 5:00pm to 5:30pm Eastern time.

I think this cars capabilities are really really gonna suprise you ben. While a more nimble car will leave it a little bit I think you are gonna be very suprised by it's capabilities. Wait for some road tests to appear


it's hitting 300K/m in about half the time of the Rturbo according to reports.

 

The Veyron has been delayed by at least a year. Ask someone who saw the Veyron at Laguna Seca last weekend how it did. It will be a while before that thing can surprise anyone.

@ $1.25 mil MSRP and 4k lbs, it's gonna be tough to surprise me :-) can you imagine what the Enzo or CGT would be capable of if you doubled Enzo's MSRP and tripled the CGT's? i just think at $1.25 mil you should be able to deliver everything Enzo and CGT have (ie: expensive materials and processes to keep the weight down) + the 1k hp - at the very least.

i believe the Bugatti is a totally different concept than those cars though. The CGT and Enzo are built to be streetable race cars. The Bugatti is basically the ultimate sport tourer. Comparing the Bugatti to an Enzo is like comparing an SL55 to an Elise or somethng like that.

the veryon isn't a race car, it's not in the same class as the Enzo or CGT, it's bot built to be a street legal racer. It's a super tourer.

 

is that square thing beneath the number plate where you plug the charger in,or is it the adaptor plate for the trailer hitch?
