Big Brakes... Mmmmmm
The rotors and pads arrived today, So all that's left to do the swap is the pins and pad hardware, and new caliper bolts... Calling one of the vendors rigtht now to finish this up... Like to have them on this coming weekend!

good luck Mike mine also should be done by this weekend!!

Spent some time on the phone with the guys at suncoast, and a little time with my catalog from Coleman Racing. The rotors in the pic above could be duplicated for under $600. All you need to do is send Coleman a rotor and tell them you want the new rotors to be slotted, directional vein with a diameter of 350mm (Mine the pics are) and the proper thickness (I didn't pull it, but think it's 1.35 inches).
The 350mm Rear Turbo setup is gonna run about $1600 with pads... I plan to have those on possibly by VIR as well. Had I not wanted to get away from a drilled rotor on the front, I'd have just bought UMW's brake kit and been done with it. Kevin packages the whole kit for you with everything you need for $3999.

Steve, I wasn't shooting for floating rotors. My main goal was to get away from the cheese graters... I also didn't want the noise I've heard from floating rotors. I drive my car a lot on the street.
I just bedded the brakes with Cohare in the passenger seat, and they performed well...

Nice1, they will last longer for sure over stock. My floating rotors are noisey (when cold) once heated they are fine, no noise at all, just a lot better than solid 1 piece rotors for track work. Did you try that rear mod yet?
