Today when I was driving, redlining 2nd and going into third, I grinded 3rd gear even with the clutch pressed all the way in. I was 110% sure the clutch was pressed in all the way to the floor. What is wrong with my car??

 

You may not have gone directly into third, and instead were between gear one and three or three and five. I had this happen when I was driving a buddy's car.

 

Actually you are right. I did have the feeling I was going in between gears. Bu I didn't know this would cause the car to grind??
