anyone with upsolute ecu on a X50? impressions?

Im considering the upsolute ECU on my X50. If I get a conservative 50hp from it, I would be extremely happy given the price of only $700 for the upsolute. My car already has a cargraphic exhaust. So Im thinking the upsolute paired with my exhuast would truly wake up the X50 set up. Is anyone running this right now? thoughts? impressions?

should I also consider upgrading the wastegates and diverter valves? How much does it cost to upgrade wastegates?

thanks everyone!

Some will bash the upsolute, some will not. I have it and for 600 bucks it was well worth it. If you are just going to flash and thats it, I would say go for it.

Def do the diverter valves and wastegate actuators (in that order). Valves will prob go on their own with the flash, so you might as well do it sooner rather than have them fail on you. Cost ~300 plus install (you can do them yourself, pretty easy and there are good directions on the web)

Then certainly do the wastegate actuators, everyone I know (including myself) has noticed a huge improvement with them. These generally dont fail, so if you are happy with the power you have you dont need to but you will appreciate the increase when you do them. These are $400 plus install (also, a pretty easy task and there are directions out there

Enjoy!

Hey Man, your in CT why don't you try out Tony's tune at EPLabs.net. He is located in Stratford CT. He is a custom tuner and one of only a few in the country. He can dial in your car perfectly for you and way cheaper then an OTS flash.

Hi everyone,

I will give Tony at EP labs a call. Im sure his tune will be much better than the upsolute. but again, the upsolute price point is hard to beat.

I was considering trading the car in, but man I will lose my shirt on the car.
its an 02 X50 with only 13k miles. flawless. So... its on to upgrades for my car.
