New Front BREMBO brakes pics

well here they are bigger and badder than ever!!!!

these are the new monoblocs notice the cross beam in the back that decreases flex under braking.

the one on the car is the real deal, to the left the old front and to the right the rears

ok here it the new 997GT3 rears also 350mm rotor and also with the new cross member for ridgidity

Looks good Tom!

What size rotors are you running?

Also, you mentioned in another thread you put 350 mm rotors on the rear...what rotors did you put on the rear, and did you have to run an adapter?...are you running the stock rear calipers?

Thanks Tom, and congrats on the new setup...it should really kick a$$!!!

Adam

front and rear rotors are 350mms
rear calipers are the new 997GT3's and bolted right on as did the fronts.

I did have to go to CCW wheels to clear the front calipers, check other thread of mine, both my other wheel sets are now for sale!

NIce set up Tom. I have the same on front but rotors are 355. Now we get to take the whole caliper assembly off when we change pads. Oh well, strength has its trade offs.

I had to get custom pads made as I didn't want to run the Ferodo's that were available. Did the PFC 097 compound front and rear. They don't squeel on the street, they squawl. I don't care BC with the LWFW it just completes the package to make those around me at the stoplight that it's getting ready to fall apart.

Tom

Very nice setup.

It would be great if you could let us know whether this has an impact on lap times. I expect not in a fast lap time test, but I might be wrong depending on your track and driving style.. but surely yes in race sprint where you lap for 20 minutes.

What size are the Hoosiers on your TT wheels for sale pls?
Thanks
