Question Is a good idea to change to 5bar fpr with a Stage 4+ ?

EVO/IA Stage 4 was originally intended to run 1.1 to the red line.

Today, a lot of Stage 4’s and K-24’s w/EVO WG are running 1.2 to the red line and some like me Stage4+ are running with peak 1.3 bar from 3,600- 4,600 rpms on EVO IC's +RSS Plenum&B-TB+ triangle mergers K24 headers (997TT EVT590 on/EVOGT660 style).

Is a good idea to change to 5bar fpr with a Stage 4+?

Thanks!

I think when you come to that level, one should change to a real 5.0 FPR, and the fuel rails as well, I can only assume the injectors are already changed to bigger ones that work for the app.Of course the ecu needs to be tweaked to reflect those changes.

I never ran a 5 bar with my stage 4 car. I didn't have a plenum, TB, or IC's, but my car held 1.2 bar to redline and funs great AFR's. Since you are running those extra mods and they are pushing more air, you might need more fuel. I would talk to Stephen and get his input.

Guessing if you need fuel is not going to help. You need to have the AFRs checked and then go from there.
