"Empty weight (depending on equipment) - 3129.7 lbs to 3261.9 lbs"
According to the 2003 Turbo Owner's Manual.....
"Empty weight - 3394.9 lbs (Manual transmission) and 3494.1 lbs (Tiptronic S)"

IMHO the 300 pounds or so understates the difference. The GT2 has PCCB brakes which I believe are half the weight of the TT's brakes (if they don't have the PCCB upgrade. Rotational weight makes a huge difference. I think we are talking about nearly 50 pound difference in rotational weight..
