SleeperX is infamous around these parts
IMHO the 300 pounds or so understates the difference. The GT2 has PCCB brakes which I believe are half the weight of the TT's brakes (if they don't have the PCCB upgrade. Rotational weight makes a huge difference. I think we are talking about nearly 50 pound difference in rotational weight..

uhh...my turbo is around 3325 lbs with a half a tank of fuel and roll bar...haha..

my 996tt weighs 3541lbs with the fuel topped off.. .oil topped off, etc.. 2002 manual
