Leaking F Hose affecting performance

I am now boosting 1.1 bar and was stumbling a little at 5200rpm in 2nd. The stumbling was inconsistant in all gears so I decided to pressure test my boost system. At about 18psi everything held except I could hear air escaping up on top. Got the soapy water out and confirmed that I was leaking pretty good at BOTH the inlets to the DV`s from the f Hose. I am waiting for a silicone one. Any one else have this happen to them and what was your performance loss because of this? thanks

I had the same thing happen, your not going to notice much of a performance loss with that small of a leak.

They will also split right down the half that they are formed from the mold. They start as a little leak and then will rip open.

Hey thanks Alex and Stephen, I guess it happens. The silicone one i think should be better. Would this cause any sputtering on boost?? My plugs are new BTW

Well it could if the plugs are weak. But not normally. The silicone one is solid. You will not havbe this issue again. How many miles on your car and mods?

Its very possible, as you know 9 times out of 10 its plugs or the mass air.
