Help with stripped screw on MAF

Hey guys,

I'm trying to replace my MAF sensor and one of the screws/bolts is stripped. Its not the standard Star/Security Torque screw. Mine were replaced when a V-flow was added and the current are standard Hex pattern. My problem is that the inside of the pattern has degraded and I can't get it to loosen?

Any ideas? As a last resort I could crazy glue a hex bit to the screw and then just replace (Screw and bit)? There is no edge to the screw so I can't use pliers etc. (no lip to grab a hold off)

Is that a stupid idea? Bit replacement for an entire set is 10 bucks at home depot so its not that big a deal.

Also anyone know what the standard size length of that screw is and where to buy a replacement?

Take a Dremel tool with a cutting wheel and cut a slit in the head of the stripped screw. Cut it deep enough to get a flat-head screwdriver in it, and then just unscrew it with the flat-head.

When you cut with the Dremel, be sure to cover up any important stuff, because there will be metal shavings all over.

the maf is in plastic, you can literally get it out with twisting it and a small set of pliers if need be!
