Heya folks, I need a new K&N filter and can get them real cheap for only $60 plus shipping. Usually they're about $90 or so, so now would be a great time if you want to get a new one or replace the factory paper one.

If anyone's interested in joining the list just respond here or better still PM me or mail me to sharky@mangogrits.com

Also for any 996 guys I can get $45 for the drop in K&N. If you really want the Porsche one, it's $18.

Also for the Cayenne I can get K&N drop-in replacements for $38 plus shipping. You need two obviously... I have a couple of people already (Kirby lol).

Same price for the Cayenne Turbo btw.

Thanks guys... Only need a few more

Are the K&N as good as the BMC? Also, is this a real easy swap?

Hi Maxwell, they use the same cloth element (different color). I've used both....

That's cool man. The stock Porsche ones are paper and don't flow quite as well as the cloth K&N/BMC ones. If you've ever seen the ping pong ball test at a Pep Boys counter you'll see what I mean. Paper is more restrictive lol...

I just got a new Porsch filter replaced. Is the KN really worth it? Will I feel the diff or is it psychological?

Does anyone know where I can buy a BMC recharge kit locally? It's probably time to clean the ole filter.

I would say for full price it might not be worth it, but for the price Akkurat is offering, heck you got nothing to lose and hp to gain!!

What's the HP gain on a stock TT? Any drawbacks?

Thanks.
