Just bought a C6 Z06...
The people I have taken out in the Z were shocked that the car sounded so loud outside but quieter than they thought it would be inside. No, it is not as quiet as the stockers closed as you can tell by the clip I posted. But inside it's nowhere near that loud. Personally I thought the stock mufflers were too quiet and didn't have the right pitch/sound I was looking for. I want to hear the 427 like it was meant to be heard all the time. Not capped up and barely noticable when idling and valves closed. Also too much of an 'exhuast leak' type of sound with some of the air escaping from around the butterfly's...
At cruising speed with the (RSC) technology of the Corsa's http://www.corsaperf.com/arsctech.htm you would be surprised.
With headers, full exhuast and cam, it does have a slight drone at a low 1400-1800 rpm range but its very easy to drive around that. It's not anywhere near as bad as the stockers in the open position. I find myself staying in 5th gear a little longer on the highway then going into 6th at around 70-75mph. I'm very happy with the Corsa's...

You really need to find someone with a set with similar mods to your car. A stock car with these sound very docile compared to mine. Plus the quality is second to none. Expensive but worth the $$$ for a good quality, great sounding exhaust...

I would not buy another B&B product again. I've heard horror stories on fitment, etc.
I love the Corsa exhaust, but even with the exhaust flap open, the stock ones sound really good. Scott if you remember that red C6 Z06 with the procharger while you were in Houston, that car had stock exhaust with an offroad X-Pipe and Kooks.

One 'NASTY' ride for sure...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDyBawLbbX4
Will you all quit talking about Z06s. I was trying to decide whether I wanted to buy a 996TT, C6 Z06, or 02+ NSX (I know, I know) later this year and had finally thought I ruled the Z06 out. Thanks to this thread I'm thinking that the Z06 might be my best bet.
I think that I need to go drive all of them to determine which one I want and if any of them would qualify as a daily driver.

I just bought the actual car in this website and this car rocks!! Coming from a 996TT I can honestly say that these Z06's are a bargain. The work and detail that went into this car is incredible with the TT package. Here is the link to my new ride: http://www.airpowersystems.com/corvette/z06.htm

Scott,
Congrats on the purchase. I test drove a couple of used ones lately and liked the cars very much so...didn't like the color combos. I found one that I liked in Georgia just acted too slow!
Check out this one that a bud of mine built in Alabama...

Damn,
That thing looks NASTY, Naseem! I can't imagine that he has any luck with traction under 100 mph.
On another note, I dyno'd my car a few minutes ago. She made 443 rwhp/ 415 rwtq in 91 degree bay temps. Not bad for bone stock car.

If you ever get interested in something custom like that above...hit me up via P.M. I can assure you that the quality of work is unreal and you'd definitely be shocked if I told you what he charged the customer for that set-up.
Scott - Those are identical #'s that mine made stock and right about the average for the Z06. I really wish I had a 60-130 time before I did any mods.
