Scott, I have no issues hooking 2nd N/A on 345 DR's even in 55 degrees. I make 570ish. I do spin 1st unless tires are hot. Once I hit the spray it's a different story.

What brand and size are you running? I am looking to get a set. I make the roughly the same power.

That's what I figured, Jamie. Which DRs are you running, by the way? Thanks.

Atomic - I saw a thread about Hoosiers on Corvette Forum, but wouldn't go with them on my car. If I wanted to stay with the stock 19's (which I probably will)...I'd run MPSCs. Once hot, they stick incredibly well. Much better than any standard street tire.

I have R6's on a set of 18" rims for the road course. 315/30R18 fronts and 335/30R18 rears. I personally do not think they are very good for drag racing or running 60-130 times. Awesome on the road course.

345 Nitto Invo's are working great on the Z in Mexico...not sure about 60' times at the track. I've seen a vid of a high HP Viper run mid 9's with them on a 19 or 20" wheel...pretty impressive. Track prep must have been dead on too.

Some roads better than others but hooks extremely well compared to the stock RF's. Car is showing 543 RWHP but runs right with a buddy of mine making 570. You know how dyno numbers are...great tuning tool but doesn't always correlate to real world applications...

At a roll from 60-65 in 3rd...down shift to second and hit it on most roads...it's GONE...!!

Power shifting from 1st to second you will get some wheels spin, how much depends on road surface, but is much better than RF's...

Good to know. Always nice to have other tire options out there. Appreciate the info.

Yep. You're exactly right.

Your car sounds INCREDIBLE!

Sorry for missing your post...

Yes thats with the mods you've mentioned including a CAI.

Thanks...! I think it sounds pretty good too. The Corsa mufflers sound incredible, expecially at WOT (more of an exotic sound) but they acutally cost me some HP on the dyno. Not sure how or why but it dyno'd less HP over the stockers...

Thanks for the post. That is strange that you lost power over the stockers, but it wouldnt be the first time that a car with a well designed OE exhaust lost power when switching to a more agressive sounding/looking aftermarket option (I have no idea how well the OE Z06 cans flow..)

I love that crazy lopey idle/rumble.

I already plan on keeping my stock muffler regardless of what headers and cats I go with. Lingenfelter told me that the stock muffler makes as much power as any aftermarket muffler does....plus I love the fact that I control my exhaust flappers via remote control on my homelink system.

Scott - Keep the factory mufflers - they flow as well as any after-market set out there. Plus being able to put it in quiet mode when cruising on the high-way is priceless. I have a cam/long tube headers/cross-over and hi-flow cats. It will give you a splitting headache if you had to drive it in the "loud" mode at all times.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if they have them for 19" rims. I would really like to run stock wheels and not have to switch between the Hoosiers and DR's or buy a whole new set of 18" wheels all around.

I did see that Tire Rack had the Pilot Sport Cup in the factory sizes for the Z06. Does anyone have any real life experiences with them.

Where is the best place to get the Nittos? Are they able to run in the rain or are they dry weather tires only?
