GOD DAYMN!!! I have to say I am not a fan of the exterior styling, but that car has so many features that makes up for that, its not even funny . Very cool, first person I have seen that actually has one, tell your dad congrats, enjoy and be safe!!
Regards,
Evan

Wow!

Find a helmet, harnesses and take it to a DE for some hot laps.

Exquisite car. Congrats.

Looks like my S500 inside. Just don't know about the price of those. I think I paid less for all three of my vehicles.

But what the heck someone has to buy em...

I do like the garage floor. Hope you don't have any oil leaks.

Well he let me drive it but told me to be back soon because he can't find an insurance company that knows what it is so it isn't insured yet ... the car is completely keyless: what does that mean?? well that's what I said .... every handle of the car has a little button built into it so as long as the key of the car is within a 3 foot perimeter you ( like in your pocket ) you just hit the button with your thumb ... plus after you sit in the car you just put your foot on the brake and hit the push start button on top of the gear shifter ... NO KEY REQUIRED ... just as long as it's within the perimeter ... thought that was pretty cool ... I drove it around for awhile, it's basically a big f**king mercedes ... no one really looks at it like a 300K + car ... one guy in an S600 was pointing and explaining to his wife what it was ... it's pretty low key ... then again I only drove it around for 15 minutes ... more to come ...

Oh ... I forgot to mention my dad is gonna smoke a pack of cigarettes in this thing every time he drives it ... makes me sooo angry, every car he has smells like smoke, or has burn holes from him missing the window crack and hitting the suede, or has ash EVERYWHERE ...

On the one hand, I am in awe!
But on the other, the interior looks like my 99 LS400! Nice, but for that kind of dinero, I'd expect even more.

In your opinion, does the build quality feel like "the best there is"
??

that's the short one right?

our local MB dealer took us for a spin in the long one. the back seats are really sweet, they lay all the way out so you can put your feet up. the audio/video system is pretty impressive. The refrigerator in the back is pretty cool. the car has a bunch of cool little features. overall imho it's not worth anywhere near what it costs but then again i don't think the bently or rolls are either.

that being said, if you can afford it more power to you. it is definitely an awesome car and cool to have something that almost no one else has. at the very least it will be an interesting conversation piece in 10 years.

they (mercedes of bev hills) drove us around in a 62 in March. We are good friends with the salesman that is in charge of the Maybach for the US though. also i was over there in june and they were delivering one to Eddie Murphy that day. I am 70% sure it was a 62 but it could have been a 57.

I haven't had a chance to feel it out yet, only 30 mins, but the car is just a beefed up Mercedes and has almost the same build quality as my dads 03 CL600, at least the same feel ... so if you're a mercedes fan you'll love it ... he hates his 750iL (V12) it drives better but the power, or as he calls it the throw you into the seat power isn't there ... the seats felt very very soft and yes the back seat is awesome ... I had to sneak pictures because he would get pissed off if he saw me ... when he's not home I'll get more details ... he mentioned to me today that at every red light or wherever he went people would roll there windows down and ask him questions ... he started getting annoyed because he can't be rude and not roll his windows down ... so earlier when I said it doesn't draw attention it really does
